Serena’s research interests are in applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to IR datasets for clinical translation in cancer research.
Prior to joining the Bhargava group, she earned her Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a minor in Computer Science Engineering from PES University in Bangalore, India. She also obtained her Master’s in Computational Biology from Carnegie Mellon University.
